The Metropolitan Police Service moved into New Scotland Yard, Broadway, in 1967 from the Norman Shaw Building. New Scotland Yard was originally an office block that was acquired under a long-term lease. The building was demolished to make way for a new residential office and retail scheme.
66, Chiltern Street is a new build 15-storey residential building that incorporates 55 luxury residential apartments, with retail facilities and a new townhouse. The new building replaces the original 12-storey building, with the additional three floors containing two penthouse apartments.
