New Scotland Yard.

Broadway, New Scotland Yard.
The Metropolitan Police Service moved into New Scotland Yard, Broadway, in 1967 from the Norman Shaw Building. New Scotland Yard was originally an office block that was acquired under a long-term lease. The building was demolished to make way for a new residential office and retail scheme.
This commercial building was 67.00m high with a total of 20 floors requiring a full perimeter scaffold to provide access to all external elevations during the demolition works.

A fully boarded external access scaffold enclosed in plastic sheeting and beam work was installed to provide unimpeded access to and from the building along with various to the building corner providing protection and third party safety.
